1. Introduction WFH Lead (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates wfhlead.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding that data. By using WFH Lead, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

This policy applies to all users regardless of location, including users in the United States, the European Union/EEA, and all other jurisdictions.


2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Name — collected at account registration
  • Email address — used for account access, transactional communication, and marketing
  • Payment information — billing details processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address — collected automatically when you access the platform
  • Device & browser information — including device type, operating system, browser type, and version
  • Usage & behavioral data — including pages visited, features used, time on site, and interactions with listings
  • Location data — derived from your IP address

Information from third parties:

  • Google Sign-In — if you choose to log in via Google, we receive your name and email address from Google as permitted by their privacy policy. We do not receive your Google password or any other Google account data
  • Analytics & advertising partners — we receive aggregated and behavioral data from Google Analytics and Meta Pixel

Inference data: We and our analytics and advertising partners may combine the above data to create inferred profiles about your interests and behavior on the platform. This may include correlating your usage data, device information, and behavioral data to personalize your experience and deliver targeted advertising.


3. Sensitive Personal Data WFH Lead does not knowingly collect or process sensitive personal data, including information relating to race or ethnicity, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, biometric data, or sexual orientation. Users are responsible for not submitting sensitive personal data through the platform. If we become aware that sensitive data has been submitted, we will delete it promptly.


4. How We Use Your Data We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe
  • To provide access to job listings and contact information
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, account notices, security alerts)
  • To send marketing and promotional emails (you may opt out at any time)
  • To analyze platform usage and improve our services via Google Analytics and other analytics tools
  • To deliver targeted advertising via Meta Pixel, Google Ads, and Meta Ads
  • To authenticate your identity via Google Sign-In where used
  • To create inferred profiles for personalization and advertising purposes
  • To enforce our Terms of Service
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies We use cookies and similar tracking technologies including:

  • Google Analytics — to analyze site traffic and user behavior
  • Meta Pixel — to track conversions and deliver targeted advertising on Meta platforms
  • Google Ads — to measure ad performance and deliver targeted advertising
  • Other analytics tools — which may collect usage and behavioral data

These technologies may collect your IP address, device information, and browsing behavior on our platform.

In addition to standard browser cookies, our platform may use local shared objects (sometimes called “Flash cookies”) and HTML5 local storage. These function similarly to browser cookies but are stored differently on your device. You can manage or delete local shared objects through your browser or device settings. Disabling these may affect certain platform features.

Important notice for EU/EEA users: Under GDPR, non-essential cookies require your explicit consent prior to being set. WFH Lead is working to implement a cookie consent mechanism. Until this is in place, EU/EEA users should be aware that analytics and advertising cookies are active on the platform. You may block or manage cookies at any time through your browser settings.


6. How We Share Your Data We share your personal data with the following third parties:

We do not sell your personal data in exchange for monetary compensation. However, sharing data with advertising and analytics partners as described above may constitute “sharing” under CCPA. See Section 11 for your opt-out rights.

We may also disclose your data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of WFH Lead or its users.

We may share or transfer your data in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business assets, in which case user data may be among the assets transferred.


7. Advertising WFH Lead uses Google Ads and Meta Ads to deliver display and targeted advertising. These networks may use cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies to collect data about your activity on our platform and elsewhere to serve you relevant ads.


8. Data Retention We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion or cancellation, we retain your data for 90 days before permanently deleting it from our systems.

The following exceptions apply:

  • Financial records — payment and billing data may be retained longer where required by law for tax or accounting purposes
  • User-generated content — reviews, comments, or other content you have posted publicly may be retained on the platform after account deletion. If you wish to have specific UGC removed, contact us at https://wfhlead.com/contact/
  • Fraud and security — data related to suspected fraud, abuse, or Terms of Service violations may be retained to protect the platform and its users
  • Legal obligations — we may retain data as required to comply with applicable law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

9. Data Security We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure, including encryption, access controls, and secure server infrastructure.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will:

  • Contain and assess the breach as quickly as possible
  • Notify affected users promptly via email
  • Report the breach to relevant EU supervisory authorities within 72 hours where required under GDPR
  • Document the incident and take steps to prevent recurrence

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You use WFH Lead at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.


10. Data Retention for Legal Requests We will comply with verifiable legal requests for user data from law enforcement or government authorities where required. We will notify affected users of such requests where permitted by law.


11. Your Rights — All Users At any time you may:

  • Decline to submit information — though some features may not be available without it
  • Update account information — by logging into your account settings
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails — via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
  • Manage cookies — through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect platform functionality
  • Manage local shared objects — through your browser or device settings
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw at any time by contacting https://wfhlead.com/contact. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing

12. GDPR — Rights of EU/EEA Users If you are located in the European Union or EEA, you have the following rights under GDPR:

  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

13. CCPA — Rights of California Residents If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under CCPA:

  • Right to know — request disclosure of the personal data we collect, use, and share over the past 12 months, including categories of data, sources, purposes, and third parties it was shared with
  • Right to deletion — request deletion of your personal data, subject to the exceptions listed in Section 8
  • Right to opt out — opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data for advertising purposes
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service for exercising your CCPA rights

Deletion request exceptions: We may deny or limit deletion requests where retention is necessary to complete your subscription, detect fraud or security incidents, comply with legal obligations, or fulfill other lawful internal purposes.

Verifiable consumer request process: To submit a CCPA request, contact https://wfhlead.com/contactm with the subject line “CCPA Request.” Your request must include your full name, account email address, and a clear description of your request. We may follow up to verify your identity before processing. We will respond within 45 days. You may submit up to two verifiable requests per 12-month period. Requests made on behalf of a minor child are accepted.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: To opt out of data sharing with advertising partners including Google and Meta, contact https://wfhlead.com/contact or manage your preferences directly through Google and Meta’s ad settings linked in Section 7.

California §1798.83 — Shine the Light: California residents may request information about personal data we have disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. To submit such a request, contact https://wfhlead.com/contact with the subject line “Request for California Privacy Information.” We will respond within 30 days.


14. Children’s Privacy WFH Lead is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately. Contact https://wfhlead.com/contact if you believe a minor has submitted data to us.


15. International Data Transfers WFH Lead is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the platform from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using WFH Lead, you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.


16. Third-Party Links Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit, including:
